A backup brings data back; rebuilding the server, network and application can take days. DRaaS keeps a running copy ready and cuts the outage to hours, even minutes.
No. Drills run on an isolated network; copies are started, tested and shut down without touching production. The report is shared with RPO/RTO measurements.
Yes. VMware or Hyper-V servers at your site are replicated to the Sentinel DR site; you do not have to use Sentinel Cloud.
You do. Authorized people defined in the runbook submit the request; Sentinel NOC executes the plan. Optionally, automatic failover can be defined for specific conditions.
Failback is planned: changes made on the DR side are replicated back to the primary site, and systems return to their original place in a short outage window.
